Overseeing the passage was a raised command station positioned at the aft. It was mainly accessed by large doors on top of the ship. The forward section of the Star Destroyer featured a passage down the middle, with bays for starships on either side.
Like the original Venator-class, the Venator II featured a wide array of hangar space. This reduction in crew size was accomplished through heavy use of automation. These vessels were identical to the original class, in all but power.Įach destroyer had a crew of 1,400, far less than the 7,400 of the original Venator-class. Like all Venators, these vessels were slightly over one kilometer long. As with the original Venator-class, this class of Star Destroyers was wedged-shaped with two bridges and a long central hanger with ventral access doors.
